SO Im a long time runner. Running 10 miles 5x a week.... last week my knee started aching making it imposible to run.... so I took 1 week off & was back at it again today, at my 5 mile mark the pain came back & I had to walk it home ughhhh! The aching is somewhere in the back part in between my knee & the back of my leg... THis ONLY occurs durring my runs... once I get home & walk normally the pain subsides...... Anybody experience this problem? any suggestions would be greatly apreciated I dont want to injure myself but at the same time I dont want this to keep me from running...... PLEASE HELP I need my runs!!

Re: Aching knee???

I had the same issue, my hips were out of place, old baseball injury. After the chiro slammed them back in place my problem was gone. Not sure if that helps, but my issue seemed the same So i figured I would chime in...

Re: Aching knee???

If the pain only starts at the 5-mile mark, I would try running shorter distances.

Chiropractors are good for this kind of thing. I would see one of them or just wait a little longer than a week, sometimes these things just take time.
