What a beautiful day for a 5K!!
We ran the Band On The Run, Run 5K this morning which raises funds for Breast Cancer Research. What a great cause!

The weather was just awesome at the start, 72* and sunny and just got better throughout the whole race.
This is David's 2nd 5K and he was looking to break 30 minutes, and mrsbill was also looking to run a fast race today.

Myself, I'm nursing a tight calf, so I manned the camera for the race.

David's girlfreind and her friend came out to cheer on the bill family!! Wooo Hooo!

There were 5 bands along the course jamming and keeping the runners motivated, and they were all good.
There was also a band at the post race party jamming it up for the finishers.
Results: mrsbill ended up running her fastest 5K ever after suffering from knee pain,

and David ran under 30 minutes for his PR, as well!

I ended up running a 25 minute and some change 5K tyring to stay one step ahead of those two so I could get some pics....
