I noticed that almost everyone in middle distance at my high school wears Asics shoes. Has anyone else noticed this. It seems weird with all those brands of shoes out there and out of a random selection of 15 guys, 13 wear asics.
Seems odd.

Asics shoes rock! They are very comfortable and get the job done in style.
Plus, they are one of the cheaper brands out there, so most people can afford them.
Every now and then you can get a good looking pair too.

I've been running for 2 years and was a loyal New Balance guy. A local running store analyzed my style and suggested the ASICS Gel Nimbus. Almost a year later I have no complaints. Feels like they are part of my feet. Here's the pic of my shoes

Pair of asics that I purchased last week....best shoe i've ever run in by far. I been using it for the past 3 years. For a change I just ordered NIKE shoe.
However Just have a look at the latest "Men's Nike Shox Ride 2 (http://www.shoedeals4u.com/detail.asp?ShoeId=310177-412)" shoe, which I ordered through "shoedeals4u.com" to add it to my collections.

I have always worn nike, being from Oregon, until i got a pair of asics gel banditos this past year. I loved them, so i then bought the kayanos. I love jogging and training in them, but i am still a fan of nike, especially their spikes.

The new Asics shoes this year have been coming out with that new Asymmetrical lacing, designed to fit more naturally with our foot arch.
Also, they've added memory foam, yeah NASA stuff from those funny bed commercials, to the tongue and around the heel, so when you do lace em up, you get a pretty snug fit.
This year, they also lightened most of their shoes because they chose a different midsole material: Solyte. Amazing that you can change so much in a shoe from year to year.
I just posted a few new reviews on my site about some of the most popular Asics shoes from this latest year's lineup.
Asics Gel Kayano 15 (http://www.runningshoesexpert.com/asics-running-shoes/asics-gel-kayano-15) - stability
Asics Gel Nimbus 11 (http://www.runningshoesexpert.com/asics-running-shoes/asics-gel-nimbus-11) - neutral
Asics Gel Cumulus 11 (http://www.runningshoesexpert.com/asics-running-shoes/asics-gel-cumulus-11) - neutral+ (heavier runners, or if you put a lot of miles on)
