I am a 42yrs old/6'3" that is very active and I am looking for a supplement to help get rid of this belly. I am a high school basketball official and I have dropped my weight from 265 to 240 in roughly 12 weeks. Cardio 3 times a week with ab work 3 times a week along lifting 4 days. Been eating right around 2000 cal a day with good balance. I'm very happy that the weight is coming off especially when I hit the court 3 times a week....but the belly "thing" is killing me!!! Been researching a few supp to help get rid of that darn belly fat. The rest of me is starting to get back to where I was 3 years ago...220 lbs. I also know it takes time. Any suggestions?

Hi hawkeyegb,
First, congrats on the 25lb weight loss! That is fantastic and certainly not an easy task. And it sounds like you are doing all the right things. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to spot reduce (i.e. getting rid a belly fat). Your adipose tissue (fat tissue) is marbled into your your entire body. What that means is that you lose fat tissue everywhere on your body not in just one specific area. The best way to get this process moving faster for you would to be increase your cardio. Focus on 30-45min 3-5 days a week. If you are watching your food intake and keeping a calorie reduction you will see results.
