Being a big cyclist, I'm always reading the latest news, and the only topic that's covered seems to be drug use amongst the pros. (I think it's just because France is pissed about Americans winning the Tour, but still...)

I'm wondering, is there any talk of EPO and stuff like that in running?

Lasse Viren, the famosu Finnish distance runner, (who was tripped and got back up to still win the 10,000m in the Olympics, and won the 5,000m against Prefontaine in 1972 & also won both again in 1976) was suspected of blood doping because he was still runnign elite even as he got older when most runners started to decline.

I have heard some specultaions around the olympic runners but nothing more than speculation has come from any of the talk that I know of anyway! I would say that there probably is some doping in running as there is in any other sport.
