Extensive research and studies have been conducted from time to time to enhance human health in every way possible. In this context, a recent study showed successful results on how vitamin C can be used to slow down the aging process by helping the production of embryonic-like stem cells from adult cells.
Adult cells can be revived and transformed to cells carrying characteristics of the embryonic stem cells. This made the researchers concluded that by adding up vitamin C to the reprogrammed cells increased their production in both mouse and humans. Simply putting, Vitamin C boosted the gene expression changes and supported an effective evolution to the fully reprogrammed condition.

Sometimes I'm a bit afraid of taking Vitamin C for I'm a bit chubby and still taking some vitamins because my mom said that vitamin C is not the source of being a bit fat but because of eating too much but I'm not eating too much right now! The benefit of vitamins C is unquestionable. :)

Thank you for the great information. Have you read any of Linus Pauling's work on Vitamin C?

Vitamin helps in the promotion of collagen that is responsible for elasticity and strength of the skin. Also it is one of the best anti oxidant. So vitamin C is considered to be a good source to reduce aging.
