I am a new member to this forum. I am 58 years old, and like to run and bike. Used to do a lot of 5K's, but switched from running them, to race walking. Anyways, heres the question. This AM, I went to the ASU track and wanted to see how quick I could do 1 lap. Keep in mine, I am just an average long distance plodder, and don't do any speed interval work or nothing like that. I did it in 1 minute, and 29 seconds. Is that good for my age ??

You would have to run a 62 seconds 400 meters to be fast.:)

Yeah, thats friggin' excellent. I do my 400's workout once per week and try to run 8 reps at 1:30 - 1:35 and I'm 32!

nice work.
