View Full Version : Easy run???? Needed??? Helpful????

Today I tried an easy run, whereas normally I always run all of my runs regardless of the distance 100% to my ability. I basically jogged and my tiem was bad, btu I ran the full distance.

IS doing this helpful still?? If so, how often? Once a week maybe????? I heard that running slower for longer allows for more weight loss, but I just want to get faster.

Do you have any experience/results from easy runs???

I do lots of easy runs.:o :D

I do them because I like running to be relaxing (at least, some of the time). I like to think about things and enjoy the scenery on my easy runs. What got me into 'easy running' was that I kept getting injured (knee and heel) when I ran too many hard runs. But if you don't get injured and enjoy all-out running, then why stop? Is it fat loss you're after?

Oh, you lucky dog you! I've been having an uphill battle losing some extra weight I put on recently.
