I had a friend ask me what the best way is for running windows xp on old computers and all that I can suggest is that you go out and purchase the xp upgrade and upgrade your system.

However you probably would be just as well off by going out and buying a new cheaper computer that already has an OEM version of windows xp already installed for a couple hundred dollars. That way you can start straight from fresh.

Anyone else have tips for someone trying to run windows xp on old computers?

Thanks

You have to be very careful about running XP on older computer that might show down the system because XP has a huge usage on memory resource. Plan carefully and upgrade your RAM before buying the upgrade license.
