I just ran a half marathon 5 days ago. Is there a certain amount of time I should wait until I take an intense run? My legs still feel very fatigued. Instead of running I've gotten back in the weightroom this week. Is it ok to be weight training this week or should I be resting all together?

After an event like that, I'd do some easy days of light exercise - i.e. recovering, not resting. Swimming or cycling would be preferable, although easy running would work. You need to keep your muscles loose to speed recovery. (You'll recover much faster with easy recovery training than if you just rest and do nothing.)
