OK guys I need some help and advice. I have been running now for around 6 months maybe 2-3 times per week. I am a 44 yr old male. I am running in a road race next week with some friends and it is a 7 mile run. Maybe way over my head but I'm going for it. No guts no glory!! First off what should I eat the day of the race? A big breakfast and snack at lunch? It starts at 1:00 pm. I think I'll have my wind but I do get side aches when I practice. Any help here? Other than that any general advice I would appreciate. Thanx
