High School Track

Where does every one run? Or where did you run in high school? and what were your PRs/State or national finishes?

In high school we mostly ran around the outdoor track, and sometimes we did laps inside the school (hallways, stairs, etc.)

Personally, I did some running on low-traffic dirt roads.

Oh, and I was a pole vaulter, so I didn't run much :D

I ran for a brand new, small private high school that hadn't even built a full track. We did have a long stretch of road that was about 400 meters, it spanned the length of our campus, and it also curved around to join with the parking lots. so thats where we ran. was basically ghetto, but unique at the same time. We actually put down a 4 lane 100 meter stretch of track on the road so we could just practice starts and relay exchanges. then we also dug out a sand pit for long and triple. the distance team just ran around the campus.
