How much water should a runner be drinking each day?

I have been told everything from 8 cups a day to as much as you can get to go down your throat.

What is the best amount for a middle distance track runner?

A minimum of 10 cups water a day is advisable, excluding juices and liquid diet.

I drink probably 10-12 cups a day so that is pretty good I guess.

Try to consume at least 2 litres a day ;)

We need 8 cups a day? thats nto good because i drink like 6 cups and i also play football and Compete in Tournements for Tae Kwon Do and it doesn't seem like i need the water allt hat mcuh.

Water yum! I don't think anyone drinks enough. Ever heard that it's eight to ten beverages a day not just water to stay hydrated?
